I have read the Mist of Avalon and it was quite good. You can imagine my Morgana disappointment. It doesn’t do Gwen any favors.

There’s another book called “The Road to Avalon” which is also very ArMor. There’s very few even feminist retellings that actually redeem Guinevere. Off the top of my head I can think of The Kingmaking series and the Queen of the Summer Country series but that’s it.
